Currently, I work from my purpose built home salon in Cleveleys but previously I created and owned NuPura Spa. a successful salon based in Mossley Hill, Liverpool for 9 years before moving back to Cleveleys in 2016 to be closer to family.
Whilst in Liverpool I worked with the local Parkinson's association for almost a decade, delivering holistic treatments to Parkinson's sufferers and their carers . This work, enabled me to appreciate that, going to the salon wasn't just about getting a quick 'beauty fix' but understand the overall benefits to beauty treatments, whether they are aesthetic or holistic. Treatments can empower, relax and make someone feel confident. I try to adapt this ethos to everything I do.
During my 20 plus years in the beauty industry I have recognised how it has evolved, and I have been keen on evolving with it... training in many new treatments and techniques along the years. In 2020 I started my journey to become a registered nurse, attending UCLAN along side training in aesthetics to be able to offer my clients dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle injections, skin boosters, intramuscular vitamin injections and microneedling.
In 2016, I trained in Semi-Permanent makeup, at the prestigious Karen Betts academy. Where I attained my level 4 qualification in brow, lip & eye semi-permanent makeup procedures.
For 15 years I have worked with the award winning Eminence Organic skin care company after being blown away by their products at the International Beauty Show in New York.
I also work with other great product lines such as Lycon wax, HD Brows, LVL Lashes, KB Pro, Young Nails & CND.
